In Rouiba, Algeria, not far from the capital city Algiers, a modular, multi-product OSD (oral solid dose) facility designed by KeyPlants is providing formulation, tabletting, and capsulation.

The 1,370-sqm facility includes an 860-sqm processing area for tablet manufacturing: weighing and dispensing, granulation, roller compaction, tablet compression, coating, and a dedicated small-scale manufacturing area.

The modular part of the facility houses the main formulation area including mechanical areas above for HVAC and utility distributions (the grey-shaded area). The modules were planned to be installed inside a locally constructed shell building.
